About the position

The role involves teaching SFI classes during the day, evenings, and/or Saturdays. We have students across all study tracks. You will be part of a teaching team collaborating closely with school leadership, administration, ICT pedagogues, coaches, and support staff. Teaching takes place on-site at our premises in Lindholmen.

Your qualifications and background

We are looking for you with a teaching license and qualifications in SFI/Swedish as a Second Language, which is a requirement (minimum 30 higher education credits), along with experience teaching SFI. You have a genuine interest in language development both in theory and practice, as well as in information and communication technology (ICT). Experience using AI as a pedagogical tool is an advantage. You also possess strong digital competencies and experience from adult education.

As a pedagogue with us, you are expected to have a relational approach towards both students and colleagues, the ability to identify students' needs, adapt teaching individually, and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you are accustomed to working independently and with a solution-focused mindset. You need to be flexible, responsive, quick, and structured.

We also value practical relevance and connections with surrounding societal and professional life in language education, as collaboration within talent development or internships is part of the assignment. You build good relationships with students that motivate them to develop. We assume that you share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

About the employment

Fixed-term employment

Full-time/Part-time, location-bound in Gothenburg, starting in August.
