About the workplace

Garnvindeskolan is a preschool to grade 3 (F-3) school located in the northern part of Ale, in Skepplanda. We have three classes per grade level and approximately 270 students. We actively work with collaboration between grade levels and within our tracks. The tracks consist of educators from F-3 and after-school centers. We value our values-based work at the school through "The Dragon," which is a central figure in our preventive work.

The school is located close to the forest and a bus stop.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach at the lower primary level. The position includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching. You are responsible for following up on and supporting students' development, both academically and socially. With your commitment and curiosity, you create a safe and developmental learning environment that stimulates students to learn with joy. We have three parallel classes at the school, so you will collaborate closely with grade-level colleagues. You will become part of a competent and dedicated work team for grades F–3, where collaboration and collegial learning are in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher.

You preferably have experience in the teaching profession as well as in other professions.

In the classroom, you have clear pedagogical and humble leadership where you can involve colleagues in teaching and be the main responsible person for the class's students.

You see collegial learning together with colleagues as an important part of the development of your teaching. You are accustomed to collaborating with others, following up on teaching jointly with colleagues, and being clear in your own documentation.

You have a big heart for students' development and learning, and an inclusive view of students. You build relationships and create a safe and structured environment where students see each other as resources and learn together. At the same time, you have the ability to adapt teaching to individual needs when required.

Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching, and you see digitalization as an opportunity to develop teaching.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
