Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in central Gothenburg was established in 2010 and offers vocational and university-preparatory education within the Business Programme with a focus on Law, the Social Science Programme with a focus on Psychology, the Arts Programme with specializations in Fashion Design and Interior Design, as well as the Hairdressing Programme with specializations in Hairdressing and Styling.

The school has approximately 640 students and 42 employees. We are now looking for a teacher in Social Studies and Law for our operations.

Your Role

We are currently offering a part-time position (80%) for teaching Social Studies and Law for the academic year 2026/2027. You will teach the courses Social Studies 1a1, 1b, and 2, as well as Law 1. You will also serve as a mentor. The role involves planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching in the courses included in the assignment. You will work based on current governing documents and adapt the teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites. As a teacher at our school, you will be part of a work team as well as a working group focused on various school development issues.

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher in Social Studies and Law. We seek you with a strong personal commitment to learning and developing our students' knowledge. As a teacher, you are attentive and wish to guide students towards their future. You are also a team player and want to work together with your colleagues to create a better school.
