About the job

De la Gardiegymnasiet, one of Sweden's largest upper secondary schools, offers a wide range of programs and courses. With approximately 2,000 students and over 250 employees, it is a school full of life and opportunities. Our focus is on the future, and education is delivered using modern technology in fresh facilities. The school's motto is "Success through participation, learning, and joy." We are now looking for a certified upper secondary school teacher in Swedish, preferably combined with another subject, who wants to help develop our teaching and contribute to the students' future. De la Gardiegymnasiet is a growing school, and we are strengthening our operations with this position.

Responsibilities

In the role of teacher with us, you teach Swedish, and if you are qualified, also another subject. You also serve as a mentor and follow your students' academic and social development. Together with colleagues in work teams and subject groups, you plan, develop, and evaluate teaching. Here, you have good opportunities to think creatively, share experiences, and grow in your professional role.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher with qualifications in Swedish, preferably combined with another subject deemed relevant. You have a strong commitment to teaching and young people's learning. You easily build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you thrive in an environment where collaboration and development are a natural part of everyday life. You are flexible, solution-focused, and wish to contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) with a start date of August 10th or as agreed. Probationary employment may apply. Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis, so do not delay your application.

Extract from Criminal Record

Before an employment offer is made, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with HVB homes (homes for care and residence), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
