Göta Trängregemente T 2 is in an exciting growth phase and is now looking for an engaged instructor in vehicle service for the Logistics School in Skövde.

About the Logistics School and the Motor School

The Logistics School trains employed and future officers in logistics and vehicle service for all branches of the Swedish Armed Forces. Approximately 100 military and civilian employees work at the Logistics School.

The Motor School is responsible for training instructors in vehicle service within the Swedish Armed Forces. The department's area of responsibility in the Swedish Armed Forces covers vehicle types such as wheeled vehicles and special vehicles, for example, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles, armored all-terrain vehicles, and tracked vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

As an instructor in vehicle service, you play a central role in developing, planning, and conducting training within your field. Among other things, you will:

  • Lead and conduct courses in vehicle service as a teacher and course director.
  • Support instructors at the Swedish Armed Forces' units with subject matter expertise in vehicle service.
  • Contribute to the development of training methods, course content, and safety procedures related to vehicle service.
  • Drive development and concept projects within the Motor School's area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Professional Officer Degree
  • Military Traffic Instructor
  • Experience or knowledge of vehicle service at the company level
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Current experience working with Office packages and digital tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience or knowledge of vehicle service at the battalion/regiment level
  • Military Traffic Inspector
  • Special Vehicle Instructor (e.g., tracked vehicle, armored all-terrain vehicle, or motorcycle)
  • Experience in driving projects

Employment type: Military position, permanent employment. The position is a specialist officer position at level SO 7-8.

The Swedish Armed Forces may apply a six-month probationary period for you if you are not already employed by the agency.

The unit's motto is: Logistics – our responsibility. Göta Trängregemente belongs to the Army and is the only unit in the entire Swedish Armed Forces that works exclusively with logistics. Logistics is a collective term for supply, technical service, transport service, and defense medicine.
