Markstridsskolan seeks Instructor (OF2) for the Tactics Department of the Education Unit
Markstridsskolan (MSS) role is to work together with other parts of the army to create the conditions for the school to solve its assigned tasks in the best possible way, both nationally and internationally. MSS also performs tasks for the entire Swedish Armed Forces, such as the development and procurement of soldier-carried equipment, small arms, and support weapons. Within this framework, Markstridsskolan educates the Armed Forces' future leaders using advanced training facilities and extensive knowledge.
About the Department
The Tactics Department is part of Markstridsskolan's education unit and conducts courses as internal or program-bound training for the army's officers, specialist officers, and reserve officers. The courses are aimed partly at officers who, in their progression, should be able to serve at a level ranging from company commander to staff officer in a brigade staff, and partly at specialist officers who should be able to serve as functional representatives, staff members, or education managers at the battalion level.
About the Position
Your main tasks will be to conduct training of officers and specialist officers at courses arranged by MSS, such as: Tactical Course Army (TaK A), Higher Specialist Officer Education (HSOU), and various professional and appointment courses (YKB) with the target group of officers and specialist officers in the army's maneuver units. You will prepare orders, exercise plans, and lesson materials for the training. You conduct training independently and with support from others. You participate in project groups within MSS aimed at contributing educational perspectives to development in various areas.

Qualifications:
- Officer OF2
- Specialization in Land Warfare
- Category B Driver's License
Meritorious
- Experience in the position of company commander in a maneuver company
- Experience in staff work and command methods at battalion and/or brigade level.

You have good leadership skills and a pronounced social ability that encourages creative discussions where mentoring is a natural part of developing and broadening the perspectives of the individual. You have an interest in developing your tactical understanding and the relationship between proven experience and new research. We place great emphasis on personal attributes.
