You are placed at the wing staff's HR function (A1) but will also work together with the communications department.

As a School Information Officer, you are part of a team of 6 school and career information officers who work together with recruitment, marketing, and attraction for the wing and for the Swedish Armed Forces as a whole.

Main responsibilities

As a School Information Officer at F 7, your main tasks are;

• Give lectures in schools to students in middle and high school
• Take photos and write text for social media
• Work with relationship management in our customer care database Mitt Försvarsmakten
• Meet our recruitment target group at various arenas such as fairs, events, receive internship students, etc.

Evening and weekend duty occurs.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed military basic training (GU, GMU or military service) with a passing grade in the last five years
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Swedish citizenship

Meritorious

• Education in communication/digital communication or similar
• One or more work permits in the Swedish Armed Forces
• Good computer skills and easy to learn new systems
• Experience in photography and/or writing for social media

Other

Employment form: Fixed-term full-time employment as GSS/K (group commander, soldiers and sailors with continuous service), according to Law (2012:332) on certain armed forces employment. The position starts with a six-month probation period.

The position entails requirements for physical and mental ability. Travel in the service occurs for both work and own education. Since both the position and tasks are linked to a wartime organization, you will also be war-placed in our organization. Skaraborg Wing is a versatile and unique air wing. Here there is combat aircraft as well as the Swedish Armed Forces' combined resource of transport and special aircraft. We conduct basic and position training of conscript recruits and train all Swedish and foreign Gripen pilots. The unit also participates in many operations.
