The Transport Flight Squadron is the unit that provides tactical transport aviation with the TP 84 (C-130 Hercules) aircraft, both nationally and internationally. Our task is to transport materiel and personnel, perform air-borne supply, and conduct tactical air transport.

We are now seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for the Transport Flight Company. The company's main task is to ensure over time that the transport aviation system's need for airworthy TP 84 Hercules aircraft is met according to planned flight time utilization. The operations involve sharing responsibility for ensuring that assigned flight time production and aircraft maintenance within the TP 84 system are carried out in a cost-effective and personnel-promoting manner. This includes a wide variety of tasks and assignments that run over time and also with short notice. The operations are mainly conducted at F 7 Såtenäs but also frequently elsewhere, both nationally and internationally.

The Transport Flight Squadron is undergoing re-equipment where a new aircraft system for tactical transport aviation will be introduced into the aircraft. The Transport Flight Company is therefore seeking aircraft maintenance technicians with B1 or B2 certificates to maintain both the TP 84 and the upcoming aircraft system.

Main Responsibilities

The work as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician includes:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the tactical transport aviation aircraft system.
• Train to become a certified aircraft maintenance technician for the upcoming aircraft system.
• Participate in national and international exercises and operations with the squadron.

Qualifications

• Specialist Officer SO6/SO7
• Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician Category B1 or B2
• Meets requirements according to FM FYSS
• Category B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship

Meritorious Qualifications

• Competence regarding the TP 84 system
• Knowledge of FM common data systems and data systems within the material service (e.g., PRIO, LIFT, and FENIX)
• Forklift license A/B
• Category C driver's license / Military qualification for heavy trucks
• ADR training or alternatively IATA/HFFG

Personal Attributes

We are looking for you with good planning skills and the ability to take responsibility for and organize operations based on assigned tasks. You should be able to work both independently and in a team, in home environment as well as during operations.
