Description
Nordhemsskolan is a prestigious municipal school for grades 2–9 located in the heart of Linnéstaden, at a convenient distance from the city center and Slottsskogen park. You can easily reach us as the tram and bus networks converge at Järntorget, just north of the school.
Over 750 students attend the school, including approximately 75 in lower and middle school. Nordhemsskolan is heavily invested in learning, focusing on high-quality teaching in a secure environment. The school consists of a regular comprehensive school and an adapted comprehensive school, led by a team comprising the principal, three deputy principals, and approximately 100 staff members. Nordhemsskolan works with PALS – a school-wide approach based on relationship building, clarity, and structure, operating on both a promoting/preventive and a direct intervention level. Nordhemsskolan is a music-profiled school, meaning all students have extra music lessons in addition to the standard curriculum.
