We are looking for a Student Assistant at Gymnasium Skövde

In this role, you will become part of the Child and Education Sector. At our organization, the development of children and young people is at the forefront. Who is Gymnasium Skövde?

Gymnasium Skövde is the collective name for the municipality's two upper secondary schools, Kavelbro and Västerhöjd. Together, the schools offer 16 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs with various specializations, as well as an adapted upper secondary school with three national programs and an individual program. We also offer national sports education programs in handball and football. The schools have a broad international network of contacts and exchanges with other countries. We are also part of the Technology College and the Care and Nursing College. Gymnasium Skövde currently has approximately 2,300 students and 300 employees. Responsibilities

The role involves providing student support and working preventively so that the student can engage in learning. We work with low-affective interaction to remove obstacles that may arise in teaching situations.

In the work team, you will collaborate collegially with other teachers and student health services to create good learning situations where students are given the prerequisites to develop both academically and socially.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working as a student assistant in lower secondary school or in the introductory program at upper secondary school. You adapt easily to different situations and students' well-being. It is also important to have knowledge and experience working with students within the NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) spectrum.

In your interaction with students, you can adapt to the student's various needs and prerequisites.

To be considered for the position, fluent English is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board at www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).

Anyone who has not shown an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, engaged, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
