Brunnsboskolan is now looking for a preschool class teacher for teaching in preschool class as well as work in the after-school center. The position is a fixed-term employment at 100%.

Brunnsboskolan is a primary school (grades F-9) located at Brunnsbotorget on Hisingen. There are very good bus connections with only a 5-minute journey from the Central Station. Our goal is for Brunnsboskolan to be a school where students, staff, and parents thrive and share a common responsibility for creating good conditions for learning and the learning environment. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Brunnsboskolan. You will be an important part of this work.

You will work with competent and engaged colleagues and wonderful students. You will be part of a goal-oriented and creative work team and collaborate with the student health team and other professions and functions at the school. All students in the lower primary school have access to iPads as pedagogical tools.

Responsibilities

The position involves working in a preschool class together with a resource teacher, and planning and evaluating teaching with the teachers in the other preschool classes. Some work at the after-school center will also be included in the position.

You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching and collaborate with your colleagues and participate in our joint school development work. You have a holistic view of students' development, health, and learning. In addition to teaching, duties include documentation, assessment, and contact with guardians. You value the school's knowledge and are happy to contribute your own knowledge, previous experience, and insights to development. The position includes class teacher duties in one class.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach in preschool class. Meritorious for the position is a couple of years of previous experience in pedagogical work in preschool class.

As a teacher, you contribute to an environment where students and staff can feel safe, well, and grow with their tasks and responsibilities. You have good pedagogical skills, and we assume that you see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students.

You have a good and respectful approach based on the equal value of all people, you are structured and take responsibility for your work, you see the value in collaborating with others, and you create trust and joy in the groups you lead.
