The clock is nearing eight. The elevators are running warm, a courier steps in with a package for the twelfth floor, while a potential buyer heads to the brokerage office on the ground floor to sign their new home purchase. Two gentlemen in suits enter and need visitor badges before their meeting begins.

You stand in the reception area of one of Malmö's most iconic office buildings, a 14-story silhouette in Dockan, designed in the 1950s. Here, you set the tone for the day with a big smile, presence, and professional service that makes tenants, visitors, and colleagues feel seen from the very first moment.

This is a property reception where you are the face of the building to everyone moving within it. On the ground floor, there are brokerage and bank offices where private customers come for drop-in visits and booked meetings. On the upper floors sits a large insurance company with several hundred employees, from IT to management, with a diverse cultural background. Your task is to meet everyone with the same high level of service.

You receive and direct visitors, couriers, and deliveries, ensuring that visitors register and handling keys and access tags. The pace varies throughout the day; quieter moments alternate with periods when several things happen at once, and you need to be able to prioritize when visitors, the phone, and other tasks pull you in parallel.

This is a role for someone who appreciates stepping into the right phase of business development. The building is embarking on a development journey where a lot will happen in the coming years. This creates opportunities for those who want to take initiative, influence their daily work, and gradually grow into greater responsibility as the business develops.

You are a true service-oriented person who takes pride in your profession and treats every visitor as your customer. You have a keen sense of the room's atmosphere, notice when someone is unsure of where to go, and step forward without anyone needing to ask.

To thrive in this role, we would like you to:

• Have experience in reception, hospitality, or a similar service environment
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Be confident in meeting people from very different backgrounds and maintaining the same high tone with everyone
• Enjoy taking responsibility and want to grow into larger tasks over time
• Have the ambition to eventually lead a team (meritorious)

You work in Gängtappen in Malmö – one of the city's most well-known office buildings, also known as Kockumshuset, located in Dockan at Västra Hamnen. The building is an iconic part of Malmö's skyline and a clear landmark from the city's historic shipyard area.

The Dockan and Varvsstaden areas combine modern districts, green spaces, and the tranquility of the small boat harbor with a historic shipyard environment. Here, Malmö's innovators, creators, and academia meet in a vibrant city district characterized by modern offices, good communications, and a broad range of services.

The building houses several businesses within banking, brokerage, and insurance, creating a continuous flow of visitors and employees throughout the day. The environment is professional and quality-conscious, with high demands placed on interaction and service in every contact.
