After School Care Teacher

Description: Lur School is a grades F-6 school with an attached after-school care center (fritidshem) and approximately 40 students. Our shared approach is that all students should succeed and that every student's inherent potential is developed. We strive for pedagogical accessibility by continuously adapting the didactic, spatial, and social environment to create a functional learning environment where learning and development thrive. Through the teacher's conscious approach, students are motivated to take active responsibility for their own and others' learning. Playful learning is an integral part of all teaching within the after-school care center.

Responsibilities

The position involves a shared pedagogical operational responsibility based on the goals of the after-school care curriculum. You will work and develop within a team. The role requires initiative within the framework of the curriculum's goals. You will create safe and professional relationships in interactions with students and in collaboration with their guardians.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who have a teaching license and education as a teacher in after-school care. You should have experience and knowledge of the organization and governing documents of primary school. Good digital competence is a plus, as we handle information, documentation, and incorporate digital learning as a natural part of our operations. Experience and education regarding students in need of special support are also merits, as is knowledge regarding diabetes.

The work requires organizational skills, self-responsibility, and flexibility. You have experience leading groups of children in learning situations. We place great emphasis on your view of values and knowledge aligning with the school's holistic philosophy, and how this influences your approach. Personal suitability is of great importance.

We Offer

A permanent position at 60% with a start date of August 10, 2026.

In the absence of qualified applicants, it may become relevant to hire someone as an unlicensed teacher on a temporary basis according to the Education Act.
