Påvelundsskolan is a primary school with approximately 1,100 students, ranging from preschool class to grade 9, as well as a special needs primary school for grades 1–6. In grades 7–9, there are approximately 600 students distributed across 22 classes and one special education group. The school is led by a principal and four deputy principals.

Our goal is for Påvelundsskolan F-9 to be an equitable school where students and staff thrive and develop. Our work is characterized by dedicated staff who provide students with opportunities and conditions to develop and be challenged in their learning. We strive for an open, developmental, and pleasant work community with a focus on the students' learning environment. We value relational and communication competence.

Systematic quality work is ongoing, and our lead teachers, together with all teaching staff, are developing teaching in relation to student learning. Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for teachers at Påvelundsskolan who can teach mathematics, Science (No), and Technology in grades 7–9 and who want to help drive the school's pedagogical development forward.

You will share mentorship in grade 7 together with a colleague and you will be part of a larger work team for grades 7–9.

The position includes responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching. You will participate in the school's collegial learning. Through varied and adapted teaching, you provide the guidance and stimulation that individuals and groups need in their learning. In your assignment, you take into account the students' personal development, based on their own prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach grades 7–9 in mathematics, Science (No), and Technology. We would like you to have experience working with digital tools and technology in teaching to meet today's needs and create a dynamic learning environment. It is also positive if you see the computer and Chromebook as tools in your work, as all students are equipped with a device. At our school, you will have access to your own computer as a work tool.

We are looking for you who are secure, stable, and have good self-insight into your professional role. You create good relationships with respect and care for the student. You can create engagement among students and see a challenge in getting them to want to learn. You apply methods and approaches that make each student's learning visible. Furthermore, you have the ability to use and adapt different methods and tools in learning. You see opportunities for change and contribute to creating situations where new ideas and suggestions can be developed.
