Kristinedalskolan - a place for meetings, learning, and development!
Here, approximately 500 children, young people, and about 100 adults meet daily throughout the school year to learn from each other, grow, and develop. The school offers great opportunities for cultural exchanges, both in terms of creative expression in all forms and meetings with peers and colleagues from countries other than Sweden. Approximately 30 languages are spoken at the school, including Swedish. Additionally, the Adapted Primary School has all its operations at Kristinedalskolan.
Kristinedalskolan is a single-story school centrally located in the urban area of Stenungsund, with proximity to nature and various activities. In addition to school operations covering children and young people from preschool class to grade 9, the school also runs after-school club activities and a youth club. Kristinedalskolan's goal is for students and staff to enjoy being at the school. Everyone should feel welcome and treated with respect. The school should be a safe and positive place where it is fun to learn new things.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies. The position includes teaching in both the regular primary school grades 6-9 and the adapted primary school grades 4-9. You will work with planning, implementation, and assessment of teaching, and you will serve as a mentor for a group of students. At the school, we work systematically with values-based education based on the curriculum Lgr22.
As a teacher with us, you will be part of a work team where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the school's development and strive together to develop and achieve set goals. You will also be part of a subject group of three home economics teachers, where you jointly develop teaching based on identified needs.
You differentiate your teaching and create accessible learning environments for the group so that all students learn and develop. You have high expectations and create good conditions for students' positive learning identity. Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet. You should have good pedagogical competence and be well acquainted with the regulatory documents for both the regular primary school and the adapted primary school.
Qualifications
You who apply must be a certified teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies, or alternatively have acquired experience that the employer deems equivalent. You see yourself as a strong pedagogical leader who is passionate about developing teaching. You should have a working style where student influence and flexibility are a natural part. You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You possess qualities that include both structure and creativity. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. It is important that you are secure in your professional role and that you are clear towards students, parents, and colleagues.
