The position is full-time (100%) starting in the autumn term of 2026. Raoul Wallenbergskolan is an independent school organization whose operations are guided by the core values of honesty, empathy, courage, and initiative. The school in Lidköping was established in 2022 and serves grades 7–9. We are located in newly renovated premises in the former Rörstrand area, having built an operation characterized by clear structures, a conducive study environment, and a positive classroom climate. The school leadership has been present since the beginning and possesses extensive experience in leading school development with a focus on quality and stability. Your Responsibilities

You will teach Science (NO) and potentially Technology in grades 7–9. The role includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as mentoring duties. At our school, we work closely within subject teams and departments, collaborating on both planning and assessment. We have established structures for collegial learning and a school leadership team that is actively present in the daily operations. You will work within a secure framework while having the opportunity to gradually develop your own pedagogical profile. The school also hosts the "Mathivation" initiative, which aims to spark students' curiosity for mathematics, programming, and problem-solving through realistic working methods and collaborations with the business community and academia.

Your Profile

We welcome you if you are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach Science, or if you have equivalent experience to apply for the position. You have a solid understanding of the subject matter and a clear desire to develop in your role as a teacher. For us, the right drive and attitude are more important than many years of experience. You are structured and wish to plan your teaching based on national guidelines. At the same time, you are curious and open to developing your didactics together with colleagues. You view collaboration as an inherent part of the profession and appreciate co-planning, discussing assessments, and reflecting on the quality of teaching. As a classroom leader, you strive for clarity, security, and high expectations. You meet students with respect and warmth, keeping the student's long-term development in focus.
