Description

Welcome to Sandeklevsskolan 7–9 – join us in building the secondary school of the future!

In preparation for autumn 2026, something new is taking shape in the Nordost 3 school area in Gothenburg. Two schools are merging into one – together we are building a new, large, and dedicated secondary school at Sandeklevsskolan 7–9. We are now looking for you who want to be involved from the very beginning in this exciting development work and contribute to creating a strong, secure, and successful environment for our students.

We are currently seeking two subject teachers for grades 7–9 with qualifications in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Responsibilities

As a teacher at Sandeklevsskolan 7–9, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in Math/Science for students in grades 7–9. You teach both in whole classes and in smaller groups based on student needs and the organization's structure.

We work systematically to develop teaching and create the best conditions for every student to reach as far as possible in their learning.

You will:

  • plan and implement teaching based on the curriculum and regulatory documents
  • analyze and monitor students' knowledge development
  • collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams and subject groups
  • actively contribute to the school's development work as we build a new organization and culture together
  • collaborate with student health services and other professionals to create good learning environments

collegial learning is a central part of our operations, and we see collaboration as a prerequisite for success – for both student and organizational development.

From autumn 2026, Sandeklevsskolan will be a dedicated secondary school with approximately 15 classes and students in grades 7–9. The school is formed by merging two operations into a common secondary school organization. This presents a unique opportunity for you as an employee:

to help build something new from the ground up.

Together we create:

  • a new organization
  • a shared culture and identity
  • structures for teaching, mentoring, and student health work
  • a high-quality and equitable education for all students

We work from a collaborative perspective, where we see that student health starts in the classroom and is everyone's responsibility. At Sandeklevsskolan, the student health team works closely with both students and work teams to create the best possible conditions for each student's development, learning, and well-being.

We are looking for you who see the opportunity in change and want to be an active part of shaping the secondary school of the future.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualifications to teach mathematics and science subjects for grades 7–9. You have good didactic skills and clear pedagogical leadership.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience of teaching at the secondary level
  • experience of working in a multicultural and/or socio-economically varied school environment
  • experience of working with extra adaptations and inclusive learning environments

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who are development-oriented and want to help build a new operation. You have good teamwork skills and thrive with collegial learning. You are flexible and see opportunities in change work. Furthermore, you are good at building relationships, you are clear and confident in your leadership. You have high expectations of the students and a strong belief in their ability to succeed.

Other

As an employee in our administration, you are offered among other things wellness benefits, bicycle benefits, and employee support.

According to the Education Act, extracts from the police record must be presented by individuals before they are employed in preschool activities, schools, and school-age recreation centers. You order this on the Police website.

In connection with this recruitment, we have taken a stand regarding recruitment channels and therefore decline further offers of competence mediation, advertising, and recruitment assistance.

We only accept applications via our recruitment system in accordance with GDPR.
