About the job

Your main task is to challenge students in their learning and support their knowledge development towards set goals, together with colleagues in the work team. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, you will, together with your colleagues, work on developing teaching based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work.

Who are you

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in grades 4-6 or alternatively grades 1-6. Your ability to create good, trust-based relationships with both students and staff and guardians is a prerequisite.

You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning. You design activities and situations that promote and develop students' motivation, endurance, and attention. You have the ability to see and meet each student, base your approach on what works, and offer broad guidance and stimulation in teaching.

You see opportunities in working cross-curricularly in collaboration with others. Collegial learning is a natural part of your work. You reflect on and analyze your teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a strong commitment in the classroom and take great responsibility in your work.

You are communicative, creative, and open to thinking new thoughts and trying new working methods together with others.

Extract from the Criminal Record

Before an employment offer is made, you as a candidate are required to show an extract from the criminal record for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
