Special Educator for Central Student Health Services

We are looking for an engaged and competent special educator for the central student health services. Here, you will work in a secure and nature-oriented environment with short decision-making paths, close collaboration, and collegial support. About the Position
As a special educator in the central student health services, you will work at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You will contribute your special educational expertise in close collaboration with teachers, principals, student health teams, and guardians.
The student health services are central. The key to success in this small municipality is that we work in collaboration with colleagues to support each other when needed. However, you will have a permanent placement at a specific school and will be led daily by the principal on-site.

Main Responsibilities:
- Guide and provide consultative support to teachers and principals regarding extra adjustments and special support.
- Contribute to the development of accessible learning environments.
- Conduct pedagogical assessments and investigations.
- Participate in the work of designing and following up on action plans.
- Collaborate with student health teams and external actors such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), social services, and habilitation services.
- Provide support in teaching when necessary.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Teacher certification and preferably training as a special educator or currently undergoing such training.
- Experience working in primary/secondary schools with students in need of special support.
- Good knowledge of school legislation, particularly regarding extra adjustments and special support.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or speech disorders.
As a person, we see that you are secure, sensitive, and solution-focused. You have good analytical skills and thrive in a guiding role. You collaborate well with others and easily build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
