About the job
Linköping University has a new cybersecurity department where we are currently planning to hire a part-time teaching assistant with an interest in security and privacy regarding VR usage. In this role, you are expected to contribute to instrumentation, experiments, analysis, and report writing for a project on security and privacy in VR usage. You are also expected to collaborate with your colleagues within the group on all these aspects.
About you
To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to a university-level program at the first or second cycle (bachelor's or master's level). A requirement for employment is that you can demonstrate documented good grades in subject-specific courses within the areas covered by the relevant courses. It is an advantage if you are studying at Linköping University.
We are looking for you with experience from larger projects (e.g., 20–30 ECTS credits) related to this project, with a strong preference for individuals with ongoing research within the specific project area. Specifically, you are expected to have experience ethically conducting Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on (your own) VR traffic, data collection, and analysis of network traffic from various VR services, as well as writing research reports on these aspects.
We also expect you to have good skills in programming, data analysis, and report writing in English within the specific field.
