Högalidsskolan is a primary school located in the center of Finspång, catering to students from preschool class (age 6) up to grade six. Currently, there are approximately 170 students distributed across seven classes.

As a student coach with us, you will become an important part of a dedicated team working together to create a safe, motivating, and developmental school environment for our students.

Your future responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged student coach for the lower grades. In this role, you work closely with the students throughout the day and contribute to creating safety, study peace, and good relationships.

The assignment includes work during school hours and at the after-school care center, where you, together with colleagues, create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful day for the students. You support students both socially and pedagogically, working preventively and promotively to strengthen their development and well-being.

You collaborate closely with teachers, after-school staff, student health services, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for the students' learning and well-being.

The role also involves

The position includes mentorship for students in grade two, where you play an important role in following and supporting the students' development.

You will be a safe adult role model who works relationally and contributes to ensuring that every student feels seen, involved, and significant in the daily life of the school. The role also involves close collaboration with the school's other operations based on our common focus on the students' entire day.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, secure, and has a genuine interest in working with the development of children and young people.

You have a good ability to build relationships and meet students based on their different needs and conditions. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy collaborating with others.
