Your tasks

As a teacher, your task is to plan, implement, follow up, and assess students' learning based on current guidelines.

You work to create the most accessible school situation possible by adapting the learning environment for the students in collaboration with other staff.

Your position involves teaching vocational courses in the vehicle care and cargo handling program at an adapted upper secondary school, which is the school form for students with intellectual disabilities. The position may also involve teaching on introductory programs.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an upper secondary education with a focus on vehicles and experience from the industry. If you also have a forklift license and experience working in a warehouse, this is meritorious. If you have experience working with students in adapted schools, we also see this as meritorious.

Knowledge of neuropsychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities is an advantage.

As a person, you have the ability to handle complex pedagogical situations. You are motivated by collaboration and have an understanding of how people acquire knowledge and are aware of people's different prerequisites. You have a good ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are independent and have good leadership with clear routines where you give students in-depth knowledge and the opportunity to grow. You also have a holistic view of the students' stay at school.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are a positive, engaged, and flexible person. You will work in a team with other teaching teachers. Good collaboration skills are therefore important.

A B-driver's license is a requirement, and you have knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
