Högalidsskolan is a primary school located in the center of Finspång, catering to students from preschool class (age 6) up to grade 6. Currently, there are approximately 170 students distributed across seven classes.

At Högalidsskolan, the preschool class, primary school, and after-school center work together through various thematic projects and joint activities throughout the year. Through close collaboration between the school's different operations, we create a consistent thread in the students' daily lives and provide good conditions for every student to develop based on their needs and abilities.

We work using a language- and knowledge-developing approach where students' motivation, curiosity, and sense of responsibility are in focus.

Your future responsibilities

We are currently looking for a certified teacher for grades 4–6 with qualifications in Mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology. The role includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum and regulatory documents.

You are responsible for creating a safe, clear, and inspiring learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. You actively work to adapt teaching to students' needs and collaborate closely with colleagues, guardians, and student health services.

The role also involves

As a teacher here, you are part of a work team where collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of everyday life. You contribute to the school's development work and help develop teaching together with your colleagues.

Homeroom teacher duties (mentorship) are included in the position.

Qualifications in Music and the ability to contribute to the school's creative and aesthetic work are meritorious.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology for grades 4–6.

You are a safe and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have a strong commitment to teaching and student learning and work in a structured and solution-focused manner.
