Do you want to help give children a secure, educational, and positive start to their school journey? Do you thrive in close collaboration with colleagues where relationships, development, and quality are in focus? Then you could be our new leisure time center teacher at Vilbergsskolan.
Who are we?
Vilbergsskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school in Norrköping with approximately 340 students and a strong staff with high qualifications and a great commitment to operational development. Here we work together with high work ethic, much joy in work, and a clear belief that all students are everyone's responsibility.
The leisure time center is a stable and well-functioning organization where development ideas are valued and where employees have great influence over the operations. The leisure time center is an integrated and recognized part of the whole school and, like other operations, has close collaboration with the student health team to support students throughout the school day.
We are in an exciting phase of development where we are together building a completely new school ahead of the move in the autumn semester of 2028. Employees from all operations are involved in the work of shaping future learning environments.
Currently, we are also collaborating with Linköping University on the development of our own conflict management model that strengthens our work with security, relationships, and fostering good citizens. We are a training school for Linköping University.
Your responsibilities
As a leisure time center teacher, you will become an important part of the team around our preschool classes. You will be one of three leisure time center teachers who together work with two preschool classes and contribute to ensuring that students get a secure and positive start to their schooling.
During the school day, you work closely with students and teachers in the preschool class. You contribute to the students' development and learning by creating good relationships, supporting the students' social development, and being involved in teaching based on the operation's needs.
After the end of the school day, you work in the leisure time center's operations together with your colleagues. Here you plan, carry out, and develop teaching and activities that stimulate the students' development, learning, and meaningful leisure time.
You become part of an engaged leisure team where collaboration, shared responsibility, and development work are a natural part of everyday life. With us, you get the opportunity to really influence the operations.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a certified leisure time center teacher with the qualification to teach in the leisure time center.
You have a good ability to create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You enjoy collaborating and actively contribute to a good work climate where knowledge and experiences are shared between colleagues.
You communicate clearly and adapt your way of expressing yourself to the recipient and situation. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.
We are looking for you who set high demands on quality in your work and who continuously reflect on how teaching and operations can be developed to give students the best possible conditions.
You are also curious about new ideas and working methods and see development as a natural part of the assignment. At the same time, you have good self-awareness and the ability to reflect on your own leadership and your role in the operations.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Welcome with your application!
