We are looking for an engaged, driven, and flexible resource pedagogue with experience working in a school setting. You are a secure and calm person whose approach aligns with the school's core values.

Hällestad School is a rural school located just outside Finspång. The school has approximately 190 students in grades Pre-K to 6. Hällestad School is characterized by safety, knowledge, and joy. Your future responsibilities

You will guide, support, and motivate students individually and/or integrated within the classroom activities as well as at the after-school center (fritidshem). Together with the class teacher, you will plan activities adapted to the student's needs. You are responsible for adjusting the student's schedule based on a basic structure developed in collaboration with the class teacher and special education teacher. You are also expected to take partial independent responsibility for preparation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working hours will primarily be during school hours and afternoon care, but may also include some morning care hours.

Who are you?

You have a University College degree as a social pedagogue. Additional education in ADHD/ASD (NPF), MI (likely referring to specific pedagogical methods or mental health interventions), low-affective response, and mental health is considered an advantage. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate and adapt is important. We value that you are structured, engaged, and communicative, as we work in teams that require close cooperation with students' guardians and school staff. You find working with students stimulating and have a positive view of students, meaning you operate from the belief that students can and want to learn. You also build trusting relationships with students and guardians.

Personal suitability is highly valued, and it is crucial that you have excellent command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
