The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschools, compulsory schools, upper secondary schools, adapted compulsory and upper secondary schools, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Normlösa Preschool is a small preschool located in the countryside in the small community of Normlösa, situated between Skänninge and Mantorp. The preschool has three departments with three work teams, where we have close collaboration between the teams. Together, we work towards our priority area, Language, using a project-based approach. We create conditions for the children through a predictable operation, and we use play as a method for learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You plan, implement, document, and develop the pedagogical activities for preschool children according to the curriculum and the operation's governing documents, together with the rest of the work team and the preschool. The goals for the operation are based on the Preschool Curriculum, the Education Act, and the Education Ordinance.

You are responsible for leading goal-directed processes and ensuring that care, development, and learning form a whole in the teaching. Planning and implementation must be based on the curriculum and on the knowledge and experiences the children have previously acquired.

You ensure that spontaneously arising activities and interests, as well as daily activities and routines in the preschool, become part of the teaching. You also develop pedagogical content and environments that inspire development and learning, challenging and stimulating children's interest and curiosity.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a license as a preschool teacher. A B-driver's license is a requirement for the position.

You have the ability to make quick and clear decisions, both independently and together with others. You also have good initiative.

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions.

You have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives. You easily adapt your behavior in relation to other people's needs.
