Do you want to work in a strong teaching team where collaboration, high quality, and student development are at the center? Do you thrive when teaching alongside colleagues and creating a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment for younger students? Then you could be our new teacher for Grade 3 at Vilbergsskolan.

Who are we?

Vilbergsskolan is a preschool to Grade 6 school in Norrköping with approximately 340 students and a strong staff with high qualifications and a great commitment to operational development. Here, we work together with high work ethic, much joy in work, and a clear belief that all students are everyone's responsibility.

At the school, only certified teachers work in all operations. In 2025, we were awarded Norrköping Municipality's Working Environment Prize, a testament to the fact that both students and employees thrive, feel good, and succeed in their roles.

We have a strong belief in collaboration, both in work teams and in teaching. Through our approach of multi-teacher collaboration, we create good conditions for students' learning while we share responsibility for teaching, relationships, and school development.

We are also in an exciting development phase where we are building an entirely new school together in preparation for moving in during the autumn term of 2028.

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for an additional teacher for our Preschool to Grade 3 team, placed in Grade 3 during the academic year 2026–2027.

You will be part of a two-teacher team where you together plan, implement, and follow up on teaching. Through close collaboration, you create teaching that meets students' different needs and provides good conditions for both knowledge development and security.

As a teacher with us, you have a strong focus on teaching and learning while actively working with relationships, motivation, and study environment. You collaborate closely with colleagues, student health services, and school management and contribute to the school's joint development work.

We are looking for you who want to be an active part of a work team where people help each other, share experiences, and together take responsibility for students' development.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for Grades Preschool–3 and have experience teaching in primary school. You are qualified to teach Swedish, mathematics, English, social studies, natural sciences, and technology.

You easily create and develop good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Through clear and secure leadership, you create good conditions for learning and participation.

You communicate clearly and adapt your language to the recipient. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner and have high expectations of both yourself and the students.

We are also looking for you who have good self-awareness, are secure in your professional role, and can maintain calm and focus even when the work pace is high or situations become challenging.

You enjoy collaborating, are happy to share your experiences, and see the strength in developing teaching together with others.

For the role, it is required that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.

Welcome with your application!
