We are expanding our team and seeking another employee for Operations Services in the West.

The Administration Department within the Swedish Customs Authority (Tullverket) is responsible for premises, vehicles, uniforms, office and operational services, as well as procurement, finance, security, and preparedness. The department consists of management support and five national units, where Operations Services is one of the units.

The Operations Services unit consists of over 35 employees located at various sites across the country, primarily in Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The unit is led by a unit manager and has a support team consisting of operations coordinators, development officers, and three responsible managers in a geographical division: South, West, and East/North.

Operations Services manages a portfolio with a Facility Management service offering, which also includes the administration of the authority's premises, vehicles, uniforms, property protection, and service cards. The unit develops, administers, provides, and secures the operational needs for effective and efficient operational services. The unit also has important responsibilities and tasks related to heightened readiness and special events.

About the position

As an employee at Operations Services, you work flexibly and without hierarchy in an engaged team where everyone takes responsibility. The tasks, based on our Facility Management portfolio, are varied with a focus on facilitating the daily work for other functions within the Swedish Customs Authority.

The position involves travel, including overnight stays, within the West area.

In the team of 9 people, led by the Manager for the West Service Area, you contribute to achieving set goals and actively participate in developing, administering, and providing the service offering in the West area.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed upper secondary education with passing grades in Swedish, English, and Mathematics.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a service role.
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package.
  • Very good ability to communicate and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Good experience in independently organizing and planning administrative routines.
  • Swedish driver's license, at least class B for passenger cars (manual), and good driving skills.
  • Good physical condition, as the work can be physically demanding.
  • Swedish citizenship.

The following are meritorious:

  • Experience in operational purchasing.
  • Experience working with case management systems.
  • Experience working with invoice processing and financial follow-up.
  • Experience in property management, vehicle administration, uniforms, property protection, and service cards.
