You will step into a municipal social services department in the middle of a comprehensive change process where several initiatives need to be held together in a common program. The changes span both organization and working methods, from consolidating boards under one department and reviewing the organizational structure to developing budget and forecasting work, as well as handling system dependencies affected by the transition.

In this role, you will have clear overall responsibility and work closely with the operational management to create structure, direction, and coordination between several parallel tracks. The ability to drive the work forward is crucial here, with a focus on solutions that work in practice and can be put into operation on time. • You lead and coordinate several parallel sub-projects within a cohesive change program.
• You develop and drive a common project plan as well as a clear implementation structure for the entire program.
• You ensure progress and keep the work together between organizational changes, economic-related initiatives, and system dependencies.
• You identify, analyze, and manage dependencies between sub-areas to create a functioning whole.
• You drive prioritizations with a clear focus on maintaining the schedule and simplifying where necessary to enable deployment.
• You support the client in choices, prioritizations, and decisions during the program.
• You follow up and report status, risks, and deviations to the operational management.
• You coordinate deliveries from several involved parts of the organization so that the result becomes cohesive and implementable.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management
• At least 5 years of experience in change management
• Documented experience in leading complex change or transformation projects

• Experience from public sector operations
• Strong ability to drive work at a high pace and under time pressure
