About the RoleYou will step into an important assignment at a municipal social services administration that is undergoing changes in organization, governance, and working methods. There is a clear need here to strengthen the financial structure and create better control, follow-up, and decision support for managers at several levels.
You will work closely with the operations and become a key person in making finance function as a practical management tool. The focus is on clarifying the current structure, building sustainable processes for budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring that finance, organization, and responsibility are aligned.

Responsibilities- You ensure the quality of the financial structure by identifying and correcting incorrect postings and other financial items.
- You ensure that costs and revenues are reported correctly, with a special focus on deviations in the current structure and the handling of specific items.
- You establish and improve processes for budgeting, ongoing forecasting, and follow-up so that they are actively used in management.
- You develop uniform templates for budget, results, and forecasting that provide clear support for operational managers and unit managers in management and decision-making.
- You provide analytical support, decision basis, training, and ongoing guidance so that managers can understand deviations and turn analysis into actions.
- You analyze and develop the resource allocation model between the authority and the provider operations, including principles, structure, and practical application.
- You contribute proposals regarding roles, working methods, and organizational structure to create long-term sustainable working methods.
- You consolidate budget structures and ensure that follow-up, responsibility, and financial models are adapted to the new organization.
- You collaborate closely with project management, the finance function, and operational leadership to drive the work forward and prioritize the most operationally critical deliverables.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
- At least 4 years of experience as an economist, controller, and/or finance manager.
- Documented experience in creating financial structure in close collaboration with public operations.
- Documented experience in introducing budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Documented experience with resource allocation models.
- Strong operational ability and habit of turning analysis into execution.
- High pedagogical and communicative skills.
- Experience from social services and/or elderly care.
