We are now looking for an engaged personal assistant for a waking night shift or evening & weekend service. The customer is a 30-year-old woman living with MS, acquired brain injury, and epilepsy.

About the position

As a personal assistant, you support the woman in her daily life through personal care, household chores, and social support. You help with structure and planning when functional variations affect memory, time orientation, and spatial awareness. An important part of the assignment is to listen to her wishes and work calmly and respectfully based on her needs.

Since the woman has epilepsy, it is important that you are attentive, calm, and follow current routines in the event of seizures. She has epileptic seizures approximately 3–4 times per month, and these can come without warning, requiring you to be present and observant in your work.

On weekdays, the woman participates in day activities, which you accompany her to and are responsible for dropping off and picking up. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, caring for her cat, spending time with her family and their animals, and gardening in her greenhouse.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are engaged, respectful, and receptive. We appreciate that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

The customer would prefer that you:

• are female
• are calm, secure, and have a positive attitude
• have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• preferably have experience in care and nursing, as well as knowledge of epilepsy
• can work flexible hours: day, evening, night, and weekend
• tolerate fur-bearing animals and like animals

Other information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Larger part-time position

Working hours: There is an opportunity to work afternoon, evening & weekend or a position with waking night on weekdays & weekends.

Start date: Immediately

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
