We are now looking for a teacher for the intermediate school level (grades 4-6) at Romaskolan. Romaskolan is centrally located on Gotland, at a convenient commuting distance from Visby with excellent bus connections. The school has a total of approximately 360 students in grades F-9.

Romaskolan is part of the Roma school area, which also includes the school units in Vänge, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Endre. These are all F-6 schools, and students from these units are bused to Romaskolan to varying degrees for instruction in several subjects.

For the upcoming school year, Romaskolan's grades 4–6 will have four classes, and we are now looking for an engaged class teacher for one of them. Here, you will become part of a strong and harmonious teaching team where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. We develop teaching together through collegial learning during scheduled time.

The teachers in grades F–6 are part of a joint work team where meetings are organized both jointly and by school stage. This creates good conditions for a shared vision regarding teaching, attitudes, and joint activities – always with the students' best interests in focus.

We are looking for you who want to make a difference!

You conduct structured and goal-oriented teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22), systematically following up on and analyzing both your own teaching and the students' results. You are a clear leader in the classroom and dare to think new thoughts to develop your practice.

You meet students with high expectations and see good relationships with both students and guardians as a clear foundation for learning. Together with your colleagues, you create safe and engaging learning environments, characterized by clear and low-affective leadership.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have or will soon receive teacher certification for grades 4-6.

You have a positive outlook and believe in every individual's desire to develop and learn. You are unpretentious, solution-focused, and understand the benefits of working in a team and learning together. You have a good ability to build relationships with students, parents, and your colleagues. You work independently and goal-oriented based on Lgr22. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operation.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.
