Wisby High School has approximately 1,700 students and about 185 employees, of whom around 170 are teachers. We offer 16 national programs, four introductory programs, and one nationally recruited education.

Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for teaching in several different courses within the Sales and Service program. The various core courses include planning theoretical lectures and providing students with practical training in both sales and service. Part of the students' education is Work-Based Learning (APL). As a vocational teacher, you are responsible for securing APL placements, visiting students at their workplaces, and conducting discussions with supervisors regarding the student's progress.
The role also includes being a mentor for a group of students and taking responsibility for the overall picture of their studies. As part of the mentoring duties, you will maintain continuous contact with parents and other support services at the school. Your assignment includes actively contributing to the school's development. You will be part of program working groups and subject groups.
Who are you?
A vocational teacher degree in Sales and Service is required for permanent employment. We view it as an advantage if you have several years of experience from the sales and service industry.
To meet the requirements of both the industry and the Swedish National Agency for Education's curricula, applicants must have experience from various sectors within sales and service, such as retail, purchasing, information technology, hospitality, entrepreneurship, marketing, sustainability, etc.
Important personal qualities for the job include the ability to independently plan, organize, and carry out your work. It is also important to be able to build good relationships with students, as well as to be a clear leader and a positive role model in the classroom. Students also look for teachers who are structured, empathetic, and able to put themselves in their situation.
