Gotland's Resource School receives students with extensive needs for special support. We currently have approximately 60 students and around 30 employees. The students require adaptations in the pedagogical, social, and physical learning environment that are so significant they cannot be met in a regular school setting. The Resource School features smaller student groups, specialized teacher competence, and the ability to provide individually tailored support.

Your Responsibilities

As a student assistant at the Resource School, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other student assistants. A large part of the job involves building relationships with students and creating structures and routines based on their needs and interests.

You will be part of a work team and, together with teachers, plan and carry out the student's school day. You will participate in teacher-led lessons, conduct instruction with teacher support, and provide support during breaks and other activities.

Who Are You?

Training as a student assistant and experience working in schools with students in need of special support, such as diagnoses within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), speech disorders, and learning difficulties, are meritorious.

As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and responsible, and you have a solution-oriented and low-affective approach.
