At the Authority, case officers work within the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and social psychiatry, as well as a planning team tasked with planning patient discharges from healthcare. Also based at the Authority are the next-of-kin strategist, next-of-kin consultant, social responsibility coordinator, suicide prevention coordinator, housing coordinator, administrator, and project manager for SoL.

We are now looking for a Head of Operations for the Authority who, with clarity, responsibility, and innovative thinking, can lead our operations towards future challenges. You will play a key role within the organization. You are a culture bearer, an inspirer, and an enabler.

Our Operations!

The Authority processes applications and reports in accordance with the Social Services Act and the LSS. The operations are also responsible for administering and monitoring internal and external placements. As Head of Operations for the Authority, you have overall responsibility for personnel, operations, and economy.

An important part is to work developmentally from a strategic perspective. The Authority has embarked on a development journey and, with the new SoL, has many exciting things to work on. An important part is also to work towards a more seamless organization and a person-centered approach in relation to "Nära vård" (Close Care). Central to this is leading through trust-based management, creating a safe working environment, being clear in communication, and handling complex change processes.

• You are responsible for revising steering documents.
• You are close to the operations, visible in everyday life, and secure in your assignment.

• Present matters to the committee.
• You lead and develop operations with heart and direction. Based on legal requirements, agreements, and our value base, you create conditions for employees to grow and take responsibility.
• You build good relationships with next-of-kin, clients, and partners.

You are part of the administration's management group, which gives you the opportunity to be involved in development and improvement work.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who:

• have relevant academic education equivalent to a bachelor's degree, for example, a social worker
• have extensive experience in authority decision-making within municipal social services
• have experience as a manager in municipal operations in a similar role
• have very good knowledge of the laws that govern our operations.

As a person, you are inspiring, see opportunities, are stable, resilient, self-initiating, and take own initiatives. You have good collaboration skills and communicate in a clear and convincing manner. It is meritorious if you also have:

• knowledge of our operational systems, such as Visma/Medvind and Procapita/Lifecare
• a driver's license

As a leader, you function as a role model and have both the ability and interest in identifying your own strengths and weaknesses. Being quality-conscious is important to us, as care and support for our municipal residents must follow current legislation and existing routines.
