CEO – Responsible for developing and building the future of Hörbybostäder
Hörbybostäder is embarking on an exciting and important development journey. We are now looking for you who want to take overall responsibility for a small housing company with big ambitions – and who are driven by creating long-term profitability, developing properties, and contributing to the municipality's future growth.
Here, you will work closely with both operations and decision-makers, in a company where lines of communication are short and the opportunity to influence is great.
About Hörbybostäder
Hörbybostäder is a small and personal housing company with approximately 400 apartments and a knowledgeable, operationally close organization with around 13 employees.
The company is in a development phase where the focus is on strengthening the economy, developing the property portfolio, and creating conditions for future growth. The owner has clear ambitions for the company to grow through both new construction and strategic property acquisitions.
At the same time, important work is underway to create increased profitability and long-term sustainability in the operations.
Your assignment
As CEO, you are responsible for leading and developing the company both strategically and operationally. You work closely with the board and municipal leadership and play a central role in translating political ambitions into concrete operational development and long-term sound financial results.
This is a role for you who thrive in an operationally close environment where you need to be able to switch between strategy, analysis, business development, and daily decisions.
You will among other things:
- Ensure that the company develops in line with the municipality's growth ambitions
- Drive the company's development with a focus on economy, profitability, and sustainable growth
- Lead and develop both daily property management and work with new construction, property development, and future acquisitions
- Strengthen the company's role in the municipality's societal development
- Create long-term relationships with the municipality, tenants, and other partners
We are looking for you who
Have a solid background from the housing and property industry and have worked in a leading role with responsibility for operations, economy, or property management. Most importantly, you have a deep understanding of how a housing company functions, both commercially, financially, and operationally.
We believe you have experience with:
- Property development and investment issues
- Housing, maintenance, or management
- Economic control, budgeting, and result follow-up
- Driving change and development work
- Working in an organization where collaboration and relationships are crucial
It is meritorious if you have experience from municipality or politically directed operations.
As a person, you are
- Commercial and analytical
- Secure in the leadership role and clear in your communication
- Development-oriented and proactive
- Relationship-building and unpretentious
- Structured with the ability to create trust and long-term perspective
You have a genuine commitment to societal development and see the value in combining commercial acumen with responsibility for people's living environment and daily lives.
We offer
At Hörbybostäder, you have the opportunity to take on one of the municipality's most important development assignments. You will become a key person in a company with short decision-making paths, engaged employees, and big future ambitions.
Here you get the opportunity to make a real impact – both on the development of operations and the future housing in Hörby.
Welcome with your application! We will conduct ongoing selection and look forward to receiving your application by June 14. In this recruitment, we collaborate with Chefspoolen. For more information, you are welcome to contact: Annchen Kull, 076-329 40 47 or Maria Lindahl 070-917 67 65.
