This is a role for you who wish to contribute to development and lead within a changing and socially important mission. Försäkringskassan is responsible for administering state dental care support and ensuring compliance with regulations. We are currently reorganizing our operations to form a new area encompassing international dental care, manual case processing, and control of state dental care support. The processing of the leisure card provider register is also included in this area. The leisure card is a national support scheme that enables more children to participate in meaningful leisure activities, regardless of the family's financial situation. The leisure card register collects associations and organizations offering activities in sports, culture, and outdoor life.
Situational leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a Unit Manager, you are the leader closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, guided by the state's values. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, monitor goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take ownership. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of approximately 20-25 employees working with the investigation of manual case processing within dental care and the leisure card. They are based in Malmö. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of contexts, direction, and the target images set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a Unit Manager, you support the Area Manager and are part of the area's leadership group. The leadership group consists of unit managers and support resources located in different places where the area has operations. In the leadership group, you contribute with your competence and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, as a prospective employee, have a high level of security awareness.

It is an advantage if you have
- experience of operational leadership in similar operations
- experience of coaching leadership and leading change
- experience of leading teams, preferably remotely
- experience of production control of case processing
- experience of planning your operations in collaboration with manager colleagues remotely
- good understanding of Försäkringskassan's mission.

1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. Probation period may apply.
