About the role

The role involves overall responsibility for daily business operations, where you lead the overarching business and growth strategy in Sweden while acting as Sales Director with full accountability for sales results.

Furthermore, you will manage and develop key customer relationships through strategic Key Account Management, map market needs, and develop strategic customer plans. You lead and support the sales team with direct personnel responsibility and actively work to ensure the team meets and exceeds set goals. The role also involves presenting strategies and results to management, the board, and other stakeholders.

The position of Managing Director is a direct hire at ULMA Packaging AB, starting as agreed. ULMA Packaging's office is located in Lomma, Skåne. Today, the office consists of a team of just under 10 employees within sales, service, and back office.

About you

We are looking for you with experience leading a sales department or business unit, and who has worked in roles such as Sales Director, Sales Manager, or similar leadership positions. You have good experience driving process improvements in an environment with many stakeholders and thrive in a role where you combine strategic work with operational leadership.

You have a strong understanding of the Swedish market as well as good financial acumen. Furthermore, you express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We prefer that you have a bachelor's or master's degree. Experience from the packaging industry or FMCG is highly advantageous.

We are looking for you who have a passion for sales and a clear customer focus, where you combine good communication skills with negotiation ability and a high degree of initiative. You are flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.

You are results-oriented, structured, and have a good ability to organize your work, while also possessing high endurance.

You have a collaborative leadership style and a strong ability to lead teams. You also have good analytical skills and actively work with KPI tracking to ensure results and development.
