Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Every year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us each year for work outside Samhall.

The Role of Area Manager

To be an Area Manager at Samhall is to be in the absolute center of our operations. You lead a group of employees working in various customer assignments, and your primary objective is to give your employees the opportunity to discover and develop their competence so that they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer.

In your daily work, you also have extensive contact with your customers and ensure that everything functions as it should. Through good relationships, you also develop the business and find opportunities for more job positions for Samhall's employees.

Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customers are satisfied is, therefore, the very core of our mission as a company. Therefore, all efforts are directed towards creating the platform for you as an Area Manager.

What do we offer you?

As an Area Manager, you begin your development journey with us in our own Samhall School and are offered one of Sweden's best leadership programs. Here, you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience, and you also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

You become part of a large company with 24,000 employees and are surrounded by over 800 colleagues across the country who have the same role as you. Here, you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the Operations Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is in important and exciting development where you as an Area Manager play a key role and where your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and able to make decisions with high integrity. Having experience from and thriving in an operation characterized by high tempo and with the human being at the center is a requirement. We also know that you are comfortable in the leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks included in a managerial assignment.

You will lead approximately 25 employees who perform cleaning services at your customers' premises. Previous experience in cleaning operations and certificates such as INSTA 800 and SRY will be seen as meritorious for the position.

As an Area Manager, you are very mobile when visiting your customers and employees. To get around between customer assignments, we have pool cars, which means a B-driver's license is required for the position.
