We are looking for a manager who is motivated by clear goals and takes responsibility for creating results. With a present and clear leadership style, you drive the operations forward and contribute to both good results and development in the work with young people receiving extended school activity allowance.
Close leadership, change, collaboration
As a Unit Manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees working with extended school activity allowance, located in Malmö and Lund. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of contexts, direction, and the target images set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a Unit Manager, you support the Area Manager and are part of the area's management group consisting of 18 people, where you contribute your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

It is meritorious if you have
- experience of operational leadership in similar operations
- knowledge of the benefit
- experience of coaching leadership and leading in change
- experience of leading teams, preferably remotely
- experience of production control of case processing
- experience of planning your operations in collaboration with manager colleagues remotely
- good understanding of Försäkringskassan's mission
- experience of authority collaboration.

1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Remote work opportunities exist if the work allows.
