About the workplace

Economy & Control is a support function that supports the administration's managers and operations in the areas of economy, purchasing and procurement, Lov coordination, operational control, decision support, premises issues, caretaker services, preparation and distribution of meals, meal support, and environmental coordination. The mandate to be supportive also includes governing in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a unit consisting of approximately 25 competent employees. The unit has a comprehensive and varied area of responsibility, including handling both operational and strategic premises and property issues within the Care and Elderly Care Administration. You report directly to our Chief Financial Officer.

You are a key resource for the operations and its managers, with a focus on developing our support so that the operations can concentrate on their core task – care. In the role, you also need to create a good work environment that provides the best possible conditions for sustainable and developmental work.

In your strategic work, you will, together with the Property Management, ensure that we have premises to meet the demographic development with 50% more elderly residents by 2040. As support in this work, there is a newly established position of Property Strategist. In your operational work, you need to engage in our development towards becoming the best support for our operations.

You will have many contact surfaces such as all managers in the operations, private property owners, accountants, and the Property Management in the City of Helsingborg.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an appropriate university degree and experience working with premises and property-related issues. This means that you should have solid knowledge about the management of premises, properties, and related administrative tasks, as well as experience leading employees in some form of service activity.

You need to have experience in a leadership position as well as drive and willingness to lead and develop employees. Your desire to work with both operational and strategic work is great. We value that you have experience promoting and leading development projects aimed at increasing collaboration and efficiency between different units within an organization.
