About the role
As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the operations and work closely with the board, employees, volunteers, and external partners. The role involves varied work where you combine strategic leadership with operational responsibility and have great opportunities to influence the continued development of the organization.

Kvinnojouren Lund is a non-profit organization that has worked for over 45 years for a gender-equal society free from violence. The organization offers support to people who have been exposed to violence in close relationships, sexual violence, and honor-related violence and oppression through support conversations, group activities, knowledge-raising work, and advocacy.

As Operations Manager, you lead, coordinate, and develop the operations together with employees and volunteers. The role involves personnel responsibility and overall responsibility for the work environment, economy, and operational development.

You represent the employer in contact with employees and volunteers, while you yourself work closely with a voluntary board that is your closest superior.

In your role as Operations Manager, your main tasks will include:

• Personnel management and work environment responsibility
• Budget, economy, and operational follow-up
• Grant applications, reporting, and funding work
• Collaboration with municipalities, authorities, and external partners
• Operational development and development of working methods and processes
• Reporting and close collaboration with the board

The position of Operations Manager is a recruitment with a start date to be agreed upon.

About you
We are looking for you who have experience of personnel responsibility, operational management, and budget work. You are used to working both operationally and strategically and feel secure in making decisions, creating structure, and driving the work forward.

It is meritorious if you have experience from the non-profit sector, social work, or grant-funded operations. Experience of collaboration with municipalities and authorities is also meritorious.

Furthermore, we see that you are a secure and clear leader who is responsive, unpretentious, and relationship-building. You have the ability to create engagement and good collaborations while setting direction and working systematically.

Important for the role are:

• Experience of personnel responsibility and leadership
• Experience of operational responsibility and budget work
• Ability to work both strategically and operationally
• A clear and inclusive leadership style
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of issues related to gender equality, inclusion, and human rights
