Common Service Function is a business area within Regionservice, tasked with delivering services within the areas of finance, HR, and Customer Center. Together, we are one of Sweden's largest Administrative Service Centers with approximately 400 employees. Our goal is to make a difference and be perceived as a leading actor creating the best value. Our administrative processes should free up time and resources for Region Skåne's core activities, thereby benefiting the citizens of Scania. With a clear customer focus, we work strategically to develop our service and organization. We are at the forefront of digitalizing work methods and building knowledge about new technology that enables the automation of more administrative tasks. The Customer Center exists to provide our customers with a simple and clear entry point, 24/7, 365 days a year. Our customers are Region Skåne's operations as well as our citizens. Our goal is to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency in customer interactions. We are in an exciting phase of development where digitalization, automation, and future service are in focus. Today, we are approximately 130 colleagues located at Medicon Village in Lund. The operations are divided into four different units that perform support and administrative services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Unit Manager, you lead a complex operation with varied assignments, where we provide guidance and purchasing support to our approximately 10,000 orderers in the region. The unit has approximately 30 employees, and you have two team leaders to assist you. You report to the Area Manager and are part of the Customer Center's management group.
As a manager leading employees, you steer your operations in the expected direction towards the organization's goals. Your employees' engagement is crucial for success in your assignment, and you value coaching, giving feedback, evaluating performance, promoting collaboration, and creating a good work climate. You place great emphasis on continuous improvement work and, together with your employees, you develop the operations through efficient working methods with high quality, following up continuously for learning and further development.
Your responsibilities include contract management within several important areas such as furniture, temporary staffing, food, and office supplies. You also have overall responsibility for Regionservice's procurement plan and serve as a central support in direct procurements. Furthermore, the unit is responsible for coordinating medical technology investments and developing and strengthening the work with reuse. An important part of the role is to create a work environment characterized by clarity, motivation, and security.
In addition to operational responsibility, you drive active development work with a focus on digitalization, automation, and future customer meetings. You work strategically to improve work processes, strengthen the operation's capacity, and contribute to continuous improvement work. The work involves many contact surfaces both within and outside the region.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a secondary education and work experience considered relevant. You have experience as a leader, and it is highly meritorious with previous managerial experience with responsibility for operations, economy, and employees. You have experience leading successful development projects, preferably within purchasing, contracts, and procurement. As a Unit Manager, you are responsible for delivery to the customer, and therefore you also need experience from customer dialogue with responsibility for follow-up of delivery and customer satisfaction. You are comfortable with and have experience working in various systems. For the position, good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
As a person, you are curious, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You work with a clear focus and are spurred by keeping the set schedules. Furthermore, you have a coaching leadership style and are happy to share your knowledge. You are also unpretentious, communicative, and have the ability to build and maintain good relationships.

Regionservice is Region Skåne's service administration responsible for meals, facility care, furniture and textile services, as well as administrative services within finance and HR. We also perform patient transport within the hospital area and transport various types of goods throughout Scania. Working with service solutions for healthcare in Region Skåne is a large and challenging task.
