We are looking for a Cemetery Superintendent, 100% position, available immediately or by agreement.

Our parish is located 15 km south of Malmö. Here you will find nine churches, twelve cemeteries, and 8,500 parish members. Our team consists of 25 employees – including 9 sextons.

The Cemetery Superintendent will, among other things:

• Lead and distribute the work for funeral and service operations.
• Have overall responsibility for the planning and development of the parish's cemeteries.
• Ensure that burial sites are developed and maintained in an efficient, attractive, and appropriate manner.
• Monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Mediate in disputes regarding burial rights.
• Have both personnel and budget responsibility.
• Report directly to the Parish Priest and be part of the management group.
• Work together with other sextons at the cemeteries.
• Serve at services and church ceremonies in our churches.

We require you to have leadership experience, be structured, and have education in gardening or equivalent competence. Additionally, knowledge of church interiors and their furnishings is considered an advantage.

We assume that you are a member of the Church of Sweden, hold a driver's license, and have access to your own car. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
