Rosenhill Preschool is a small preschool located next to Mälardalen University. We consist of two departments with approximately 24 children and 4 educators in each. Both departments are age-integrated, and we work closely together across departmental boundaries.

To stimulate the children's learning and development, we work with cross-group activities where the children are divided by age. This allows us to meet the children where they are in their development and challenge them in their learning.

Health, movement, and well-being are a large part of our pedagogy. We have our own cook who prepares fantastic, nutritious, and delicious meals. We also work actively with our learning environments as we believe these are important for the children's education and opportunities for development.

We are a secure workplace with low staff turnover that values and utilizes individual competence and interests.

Your Responsibilities

As a childcare worker at Rosenhill, you have a great opportunity to be involved and influence the pedagogical work. You will work together with at least one preschool teacher in all contexts where they have the main responsibility, but you are expected to contribute to planning, reflection, analysis, and evaluation.

There is ample scheduled planning time, both individually and together with the preschool teachers, as well as with the entire work team where you document, reflect, evaluate, and analyze together. Once a month, the childcare workers also have their own meeting where the principal is present. During these meetings, the role of the childcare worker is discussed, and the childcare workers are responsible for planning "Friday Fitness," which takes place every week.

We use the digital platform Tyra, where most communication and documentation take place.

We are looking for someone who is driven, positive, and willing to learn and grow with us. We appreciate new ideas and welcome questions as we believe this is what helps us grow and learn together. You should have several years of experience working in preschool and feel confident in your role as a childcare worker.

You should be flexible and stress-resistant, as we sometimes make quick changes to the schedule to better follow the children, without losing focus on our long-term goals.

Employment Terms

The employment level is determined after discussion with you; full-time or part-time is possible. The position is a temporary contract for approximately one and a half years. The start date is August 1st, but this is negotiable. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.
