We are looking for a personal assistant who can work every other weekend (uneven weeks) from Friday to Sunday at 30%. We are looking for a person who is responsible, empathetic, and committed to our 20-year-old customer in Västerås.
We see that you are cheerful, proactive, social, and hardworking. You feel a great sense of responsibility and pride in the job you do. You are attentive to small details but also see the big picture and strive for perfection. You can be yourself to bring a smile to someone's face. You command the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing, and you are non-smoking and non-animal allergic as there are animals in the home. A driver's license is a requirement as the customer has their own car.
Our customer is a young woman with several disabilities, including CP syndrome and an intellectual disability. This means she needs help in all situations to meet her needs and interests. However, her extensive need for help does not prevent her from coming up with fun activities every day! Your role includes planning and structuring her daily life so that every day feels valuable. Your workday can look many different ways, but the care routines are the same, and your most important task is to ensure that the customer feels good and lives a fun, secure, and valuable life. You work where the customer is, whether it is a doctor's visit, a game night at a friend's house, or a family gathering.
You always work together with a colleague during your shifts.
Experience in care and nursing in some form is meritorious, but the most important thing is your lovely personality and your willingness to always be your best self at work!
We are looking for you who:
- Are cheerful, proactive, meticulous, and responsible
- Have good organizational skills and enjoy taking responsibility
- Are a secure team player who can also work independently
- Are engaged, sensitive, and have an easy time communicating
- Command Swedish fluently in speech and writing
- Are non-smoking and not allergic to fur animals (animals live in the home)
- Have a Class B driver's license – a requirement, as the customer has their own car
Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement.
Start date: Immediately for introduction. Start date 2026-07-01.
Employment terms: For the duration of the assistance assignment 30%, service every other weekend (uneven week) Friday to Sunday.

Work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to register control according to the Act (2026:43) on register control when working in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law applies from March 1, 2026. In support of the law, we as a company have a policy to request extracts from the criminal record register in connection with new hires.
