Job Responsibilities

Working as a personal assistant means ensuring that the client receives the support measures and help they are entitled to. The work takes place in the client's home and may include personal care, support during meals, and various health and medical tasks. You also help with daily activities that contribute to creating an active and meaningful life for the client. Many tasks are practical and physical, and may involve heavy lifting and other work moments that require strength and agility.

Qualifications

Who are you? We are looking for you who:

• Have a genuine interest in working within LSS (Social Services Act for Support and Service to Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry and want to make a difference.
• Have knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) and are familiar with low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
• Are flexible, engaged, and have a warm approach.
• Value collaboration and have a positive attitude.
• Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The position requires that you master the Swedish language very well, both in speech and writing.

It is highly meritorious if you are a nurse assistant or have experience working with LSS or social psychiatry (SoL) and hold a B-class driver's license.

Due to the nature of the work, the client prefers female assistants.

Scheduled working hours during the day. Extract from the criminal record may be requested, as well as professional credentials.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of personal data together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
