We are looking for assistants for a 14-year-old girl with ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) who lives just outside Sala with her family, consisting of her parents, two younger siblings, and pets. Since public transport connections to the home are limited, you as an assistant must have a valid driver's license and access to a car.

About the assignment
The girl needs support in her daily life. You as an assistant should be attentive, calm, and reassuring. Your role is to ensure that the girl's daily life is safe and understandable.

Experience with TAKK (Signs as Support for Speech and Communication) is prioritized, as well as experience with communication using visual aids in daily work and previous experience in personal assistance.

You will receive a thorough introduction and ongoing competence development tailored to the needs of the assignment.

We also look for candidates who are positive, calm, patient, and physically fit.

The personal chemistry between you and the girl, as well as the rest of the family, is very important, so we place great emphasis on your personality in the recruitment process. Previous experience with similar assignments, working with children, or within healthcare and social care is meritorious but not a requirement – the right personality is most important. You as an assistant are expected to perform your duties where the client is currently located.

About the employment

Employment type: Hourly employment initially, with the possibility of a permanent position.

Working hours: Afternoons/evenings and daytime during weekends and school holidays.

You must have a valid BankID and be prepared to use it in the role.

Recruitment process

Selection is done on a rolling basis, and more information about the assignment will be provided during an interview, if applicable. Start date is by agreement.

As part of the recruitment process, a personality test taking approximately 15–20 minutes will be conducted. You will receive a link via email after submitting your application. The test helps us find the right match between you and the assignment – for your sake, the child's, and the family's.

Since you will be working with a child as a personal assistant, you are required to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the record of convictions) before any employment begins.
