Description

The Individual and Family Care department will be short-staffed by autumn, so we are looking for social secretaries. You will work as an investigating social secretary for children and young people. The role involves conducting investigations (SoL and LVU) following applications for support or reports of concern, placing children who cannot remain at home, and following up on outpatient interventions. There are usually two social secretaries involved in the investigation process to support each other. We work based on BBIC, Signs of Safety, and have a family-oriented approach involving close internal collaboration within IFO. We actively work together to achieve improved living conditions and find solutions for children, young people, and their families, primarily in their home environment.

The role also includes preventive work in collaboration with other societal actors, both internally and externally.

The Social Services operate in the Lifecare system, and we are just starting to trial AI transcription to reduce documentation time.

What can we offer you?

You will join a functional work group with close leadership that actively works with development issues. Your work will be carried out together with a team leader, five additional social secretaries, and a reception secretary. Within IFO, there is also a placement group consisting of a team leader, three child follow-up officers, and four foster home secretaries. The Child and Family Unit also includes another team consisting of a team leader and family therapists, as well as a family law group.

When you start your position with us, you will receive a tailored introduction, regardless of whether you have extensive experience or are a recent graduate. You will receive support during your introduction from your own mentor, team leader, and manager, all to ensure you have the best possible start with us. You will also be part of our implementation journey regarding the Signs of Safety method.

Qualifications

For these positions, presenting a completed social work degree, a valid B-driver's license, and a valid extract from the police criminal record are prerequisites for employment.

We would like you to have experience in authority work and social work with children and families. You have good investigative and documentation skills, as well as the ability to independently plan and structure your work. You actively participate in the development of the operations and contribute with your knowledge and experience.

Experience from working according to BBIC and with the Lifecare system is meritorious.
