We are now looking for a social pedagogue to be placed within the principal's area at Åkraskolan. We offer you an exciting and responsible assignment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our students.

About the workplace

We are a multicultural F-6 school in Sala with approximately 475 students and 65 staff members.

The school is newly built and located in central Sala, making it easy for you to commute by both car and public transport.

Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue at our school, you will work closely with both the school counselor and the school leadership. Your work will focus on the school's after-school center (fritidshem). You will work with individual students and with values-based work in classes and groups. Your work is driven by the needs we see in our students.

We focus on the development of our students, where we jointly take responsibility for all our students' goal achievement. Our workplace is characterized by care, commitment, and a strong desire to develop through collaboration.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a social pedagogue.

For us, it is important that you have a positive attitude towards the assignment, good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in working at a multicultural school. Working in a goal-oriented manner and having good structure in your work is an important part of your assignment. You always strive to develop both yourself and the environment you work in, together with your work team and other staff. You work consciously to ensure that all students feel included, safe, and able to achieve set goals. We look for someone with a solution- and results-oriented approach, as well as good ability to express themselves in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We prefer that you have experience from working in an F-6 school.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Permanent position, full-time 100%

A certificate of good conduct is required upon offer of employment. This is in accordance with the Act on Register Checks in School, After-School, and Preschool Activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14).
